Why this book exists

For the Yet Unborn grew out of teaching, historical study, and a burden to tell the story of the Church in a way that helps readers recognize the continued faithfulness of God.

The book reflects gratitude for the generations of Christians whose witness has reached us, and a concern that the next generation should not have to rediscover everything for itself because no one took the time to tell the story well.

The authors are grateful for the influence of Pastor Paul and Kim Owens and the pastoral leadership of Fresh Start Church, whose teaching has helped shape much of the theological framework reflected in these pages.
